Maggots and casters for Tench. Pinkies for little uns. Bits of worm are good too. On certain days in summer pellets are unbeatable, although this is very rare.
Balancing act between thin diameter line and weeds when talking Tench. Thin deffo gets much more bites but trouble getting them out. Rotate swims. Groundbait doesn't make a positive or negative diff imho. Fish next to lillies or weed at base of far shelf for tench and centre track for small ones to have room to 'drop' the bait.

it is fishing well. plenty of roach rudd tench and bream being caught around the giants grave area

it was caught by the hump back bridge at giants grave id been there nearly all day using worm and sweetcorn on a basic waggler setup id had line bites all day so decided to put both worm and sweetcorn on the hook at the same time and it seemed to do the trick was very surprised with the size of the bream in the canal
