Anyone know if the 2 ponds on the A465 are fishable. (if thats a word) if so whats in them. I assume they are gravel pits as they were dug for the road. would make a cracking carping venue??

I was told a good few yrs ago that it would not become a Coarse fishing water due to objections from Neath Angling who contol the River for fear of the River being over run with Coarse Fish, I also remember being told that the River did have a good head of Coarse fish, but any caught were killed, same as on the Tawe, scandullous really you only have to look at the Wye to see that the both sections of the sport can/could co-exsist.
I don't think anything as changed

Hi I was told last year that there are two ponds there, one for the watersports and the other for fishing. Was the person who told me wrong? Cheers Kay

Not sure it would work with that depth, would depend on the margin depths but 17mtrs getting on for 60ft fuking hell the old slider float skills will need to be honed ;D

would like to get up there and see what depths are about, not sure how it was dug would not of thought it was that depth in the margin. as i stated SOME potential won't know until it is fished. just found some more info on the lakes the smaller of the two is suposed to be 12m max and goes down in steps found a diving site with some info on it worth a little read.

the quets marine website is a bit out of date. i have been told they were chucked off the water and do not have anything to do there anymore. still trying to contact the actual owner!
