all matches are opens so everyone is welcome to come along and fish. with the exception of the wfca matches which are team matches. if you are interested in fishing you are more than welcome to join in with us. if you have not match fished before and would like to see what its all about feel free to come along on a sunday, take a look and chat with the boys. please remember not to stand right by the waters edge, keep disturbance down to a minimum and to be aware of any tackle that maybe left on the ground.
all matches will be a 9 o'clock draw unless stated.
Matches will be run under the rules set down by the WFCA
Team matches are to be run by an appointed team captain and match secretary.
Each competitor shall draw for a peg having first paid peg fees and optional pools.
Any member arriving after the draw will accept a peg allocated to him by the person in charge.
Only one rod may be used at a time, though others may be set
up.
All fish to be weighed alive at the end of the match and a proper record kept.
Any person leaving his peg without good reason during the match may have his catch disqualified.

no feeding of floating baits
no hooks bigger than size 8
no baiting up before the all in
anglers have 15mins after the all out to land any fish that were hooked prior to the all out call. fish hooked after the all out will not be included. anglers should announce that they have a fish on otherwise it will not be included.
