I am right in assuming both ponds at the Gnoll are now open? I am planning on doing a few sessions there in the next week, does anyone have any information regarding best techniques, bait or any hotspots? I am not particularly bothered about species I catch just wanna get in among the fish really but wouldn't mind bagging a Bream or Tench or two! All information would be gratefully received as its been more than a decade since I last fished the Gnoll.

Yeah both ponds are open. On the top pond try the feeder for the bream and tench and waggler and pole for the silvers. Although I have had lots of small tench on the waggler. On the bottom pond I only tend to fish the float due to it only being a small lake

I think I hit the jackpot today, bought a 13 ft MAP Parabolix feeder rod from Tackle Smart (never been there before) reduced down from £120 to £50 and its going to get an airing tomorrow. Top pond at the Gnoll it is. Are there any particular hotspots you can recommend? I know that conditions are hardly perfect for Bream and Tench what with the bright sunlight but stranger things have happened.
